About the Designer

Hi. I'm Amie, pattern designer and owner of Lola Crow Cross Stitch.

I started creating cross stitch patterns in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. I had been running a costume and clothing design business for 12 years and was looking for a different creative outlet; a place where I could find joy and a little escapism at a very stressful time and make something that would give others that same feeling. Cross stitch design just felt right.

My first patterns were mostly cats, made as a tribute to my late cat Lola. She was my muse and the business is named after her. My pattern collection has since grown to include a wide assortment of chickens, crows, cryptids, literary characters, weird plants, stitch-alongs and any subject that can tell a fun and quirky story and elicit a smile.
