Extraordinary Birds Stitch Along

Welcome to the “Extraordinary Birds" mystery stitch-along!

This stitch-along features an aviary filled with strange and incredible birds. Each week will highlight a different feat of the avian world and will include an index with information about the featured creatures. All of the animals in the aviary represent real species (living and extinct). The pattern contents will be kept secret until each section is released. The purchase price of this listing includes access to the complete SAL.

The PDF pattern sections will be sent to you by email according to the schedule below. All patterns will be sent by 11 am PDT on the specified dates. Please be aware, some email providers may filter these messages into “spam” or “promotions”. Also, some firewalls can block delivery completely. If you would like to use a different email than the one used to place the order, please leave me a note.

- April 4th: Aviary Frame. This section is mostly structural and will establish the framework for the scene. You will have six weeks to complete it before the next section is released.

The skill level of this design is advanced beginner/intermediate. There are a lot of color changes and some back stitching.

Sample was stitched on 36 count "Sand Bar" linen by BeStitchMe.

The piece will look best stitched on a light/medium blue, green, gray, or beige fabric.

The finished design is 181w x 226h stitches (margins not included).
