FAQ

What types of patterns do you sell?

Lola Crow patterns are designed and charted for cross stitch, but can also be used for diamond painting.

What format are the patterns?

All patterns are provided as PDF instant digital downloads.

What is included in the pattern?

- Sample photo of the completed piece (test stitched, not a digital mockup)
- Instructions including design dimensions, floss requirements, suggested fabric and chart-specific details.
- Chart with color blocks and symbols.
- Chart with black and white symbols.
For larger patterns, both a single page and multi-page (large format) version will be included.

How do I access a pattern I purchased?

You can download the pattern by clicking the "access downloads" button on the checkout confirmation page. You will also receive an email with a clickable link to access the pattern files. If you did not receive this email, it may be in your spam folder. Pattern files will be available for 1 year after purchase. If you need to access your pattern file after that time period, please contact me.

Can I get a refund on a pattern I purchased?

No. Because the digital patterns are instantly delivered, Lola Crow does not offer refunds. If there are any issues with your purchase, please send a message and I will do what I can to help.

Do you sell print versions of your patterns?

Print versions of the patterns are not sold directly on the Lola Crow website, but many needlework retailers carry them. For more information about where to buy print charts, or if you are a shop looking to carry Lola Crow charts, click here.

Are your patterns test stitched?

Yes, all of the patterns are fully test-stitched to ensure color accuracy. The sample photos are real pictures of the fully stitched pieces.

Are your charts pattern keeper compatible?

I cannot guarantee pattern keeper compatibility, however, many people have successfully imported the charts to pattern keeper. You may need to input colors manually. I am currently working to upgrade all charts to be fully tested, pattern keeper compatible and will be rolling out this feature later this year. If you have any specific needs, please feel free to contact me.

What is a SAL?

SAL stands for stitch along. It is a community-based cross stitching experience, where many people are working on the same piece at the same time. The pattern is released in segments, each adding more to the design. Stitchers can share their progress and get help or advice on social media. The final design is a mystery, so each pattern release is a fun surprise.

How do I join a Lola Crow SAL?

First, check to see if there is an active SAL and find details and the release schedule by visiting the Current SAL page. You can then purchase the SAL directly from the home page and your email will be registered automatically to receive all future pattern releases for the project. Please download and read the "pre-stitch instructions" included with purchase for more details.

How do I access the SAL pattern files?

Pattern segments will be emailed to you as they are released, but you can also access them directly, here on the Lola Crow website. On the Current SAL page there is a link to a password protected page containing all of the pattern sections that have been released to date. Your password was provided in the "pre-stitch instructions" that you downloaded with purchase.

Can I still download SAL pattern files after the SAL is over?

Yes. On the Current SAL page there are links to password protected pages containing all of the pattern sections for completed SALs. Your password was provided in the "pre-stitch instructions" that you downloaded with purchase.
